After graduating Kearns High School in 1997 Misty went to Snow College on a Dance Scholarship. While at Snow, Misty was a member of the Snow College “Badgerettes” Drill Team, and participated in the Dance Major/Minors program for two years. Misty served as Vice President for the “Badgerettes”.
After Graduating from Snow College, Misty along with her husband Rich moved to Cedar City to attend Southern Utah University. There she was a member of the SUU “Wakyeenans” Drill Team and participated in the Dance Majors program. The SUU Drill Team was able to compete at the NCAA National Competitions in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a 3rd place finish.
After SUU, The Andersons moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where Misty taught dance at one of the Biggest Dance Studios in Las Vegas, Bunker Dance Center. Later, the Andersons moved to Pocatello Idaho where Misty started her own Dance School. Her classes included, jazz, tap, ballet, musical movement, tumbling and singing. In December of 2002 Misty and Rich built their home in Saratoga Springs. In August of 2003 Ultimate Dance Etc., was established in Saratoga Springs with Misty being the owner and director.
Misty has a special love for dance and for each student in her studio. She loves to see the growth in each student and encourages them to their full potential. She also loves giving back to the community and loves judging scholarship pageants and other events.
Misty and Rich were blessed with their first child Trevin in January 2005 and are expecting their second son in September2007.

Candice Spivey

Candice Spivey Graduated from Kearns High School in 2003, where she was a three year member of the Kearns High School “Chattes” Drill Team serving as Drill Mistress, and Vice President. She was also a two year member of the Kearns High School Dance Company. Candice also served her community as 1st Attendant to Miss Kearns. Candice then went to Snow College where she was a two year member of the Snow College “Badgerettes” Drill Team serving as President and receiving the only full tuition dance scholarship offered. She graduated with a Bachelors degree from Utah Valley State College in 2006 Candice has taught ballet, jazz, and tumbling at both Kearns High School, and West Jordan Middle School as well as private taught in Ephraim Utah. This is Candice’s 3rd year teaching at Ultimate dance Etc. and is the Assistant Director.

Alicia Hodges
Teacher of Ballet, Pointe and Jazz

Alicia Hodges danced at Kearns High School for 3 years participating in various advanced dance groups including the Kearns High Dance Company. She trained in ballet Pointe at Excel Dance Studio. She also studied ballet at Utah Valley State College under Melissa Mendehall from the Utah Regional Ballet. Alicia danced at Utah Valley State College for 2 years. This is her 4th year teaching at Ultimate Dance Etc.

Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has been dancing for over 22 years. Her dance training includes 18 years of classical ballet, 17 years of jazz, 13 years of Broadway tap, 13 years of contemporary, and 6 years of modern. She also has had additional training and experience in ballroom, musical theatre, hip-hop, Irish hard toe and African dance.
Michelle received training from professional dancers and choreographers from Ballet West, RDT, Ririe-Woodbury and NYC Ballet. Some of her earlier opportunities to perform were with the Utah Opera and Ballet West. At age 14, Michelle was chosen to be a member of the pre-professional Wasatch Youth Ballet Company. She has since performed and trained with several dance companies in the Intermountain West including: Mtn. West Ballet, Ballet Nouveau Colorado, Orchesis Dance Theatre and Ballet Repertory Ensemble.
Michelle earned her Associates degree in Dance at the College of Eastern Utah. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor degree in Dance Education at Utah Valley State College. Michelle has over 5 years of experience teaching dance. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and is excited to be a part of the Ultimate Dance staff.
